This is your guide to the annual SkillsUSA  cycle in relation to your own Facilithon team’s creation, liaison and conference attendance, culminating in the annual state conference, where your first Facilithon occurs.

This is initially a 2 year relationship, where your objective is to volunteer at as many local, district and regional events as possible. These will be all over your state, for which engaging additional chapters and members to cover areas too far to drive for a day.

the first event in the SkillsUSA year is typically the fall leadership conference. This serves as an intro to new students while many seasoned students hone their skills and on occasion, run politically for state offices. This is often a good event to share the Facilithon message in your second year.

Your second year involves volunteering like year 1, however, depending on your SkillsUSA leadership’s opinion of your team, you’re likely to share the Facilithon message on a run toward your first state conference Facilithon. There are other instructions to follow upon getting the green light in your state. This serves as a basic rundown of the path, varying from state to state.
